Pixy Liao: Day Dream

In this solo exhibition, Pixy Liao displays her ongoing series Experimental Relationship. A collaborative visual journey created by Pixy and her partner Moro, the series questions traditional gender roles within heterosexual relationships. The series has evolved over the past twelve years, reaching beyond the scope of Pixy and Moro’s Brooklyn apartment into a range of interesting locations discovered during the artist’s travels.

Nan Goldin: Memory Lost

Fraenkel Gallery, 2nd March 2023 – 29th April 2023

Nan Goldin’s fifth exhibition with the gallery since 1994 features Memory Lost, a slideshow in which Nan explores the darkness of drug addiction through images and recordings from her extensive archive, as its centrepiece. The exhibition also features dreamlike photographs from Memory Lost, along with a recent series of intimate portraits made at home during the pandemic.

Elina Brotherus: Spaces and Places

Helsinki Contemporary, 31st March – 14th May 2023

Spaces and Places, Elina Brotherus’s first show at Helsinki Contemporary, comprises a previously unseen set of works from four different series of photographs. The exhibition is made up of dialogues with works by artists Amaldus Nielsen, René Magritte, and John Baldessari, and of a selection of pictures made at the Didrichsen Art Museum.

Anne Collier: Eye

Lismore Castle Arts, 9th December 2022 – 10th April 2023

Eye, Anne Collier’s first exhibition in Ireland, is a survey of works produced between 2007 and 2022; each work features images of eyes, including the artist’s own and those sourced from photography manuals, advertisements, comic books, film stills, and album sleeves. The exhibition considers Anne’s long-standing interest in the act of looking – or being looked at – as inherent to the photographic process.

Zohra Opoku: I Have Arisen (Part 2)

I Have Arisen…Part 2, Zohra Opoku‘s first show in Paris, unveils the continuation of her series The Myths of Eternal Life, which debuted in Chicago in 2022. Zohra’s large scale screen prints interweave visual references to ancient Egypt, representing her exploration into concepts of afterlife.

The Salone del Mobile.Milano, a renowned showcase of modern furniture and design from countries around the world, is now looking ahead to its 61st edition. Highlights of the programme include an exhibition of works by Hélène Binet, which investigates the relationship between natural light and architecture, and SaloneSatellite – an event dedicated to schools, universities, and designers under 35.
