Photo London 2022 – Part 3
For our third round-up of festival highlights we’re putting the spotlight on the Discovery section of the fair, exploring an exhibition by the print curation platform hi~noon....
Sophy Rickett (b. London 1970) is an artist working with photography, film, text and archives. She has exhibited internationally since the 1990s and her work is held in important museum collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, Government Art Collection, London, Pompidou Centre, Paris, FRAC Alsace and the Musee des Beaux Artes Nantes. Her most recent project, The Curious Moaning of Kenfig Burrows was shortlisted for the prestigious Kraszna Krausz Photography Prize 2020. She is a Senior Lecturer in photography at London College of Communication, and co-founder and co-director of Hi-Noon.
