Although the Knife Angel has departed, our creative anti-violence activities for young people continue.
For the month of February, in support of the Knife Angel’s month in Gloucester, as part of its National Anti-Violence tour, and the Knife Rose at the Heroines Quarter, we’re running art activities in our Creative Canvas space.
We look forward to welcoming new Bootcampers, who want to learn more about the practical side of photography and participate in the final exhibition about women in rail (either as a photographer or producer). We have a number of workshops and talks with Heroines lined up as well as more visits to see some fabulous exhibitions of work by women – all planned to help you develop your own photographic voice.
What is creativity? I love this question it conjures up a different answer for everyone. Essentially it is the use of our greatest gift, the imagination. Many of us never fully unwrap it. We leave it under the tree of real life for when we have more time.
Ever wanted to improve your photography skills? See your city from a different perspective? Understand more about contemporary art? Then this is the right time to sign up to our Creative Bootcamp!
