Jananne Al Ani

Jananne Al-Ani is a London based Iraqi-born artist working with photography, film and video. A graduate of the Byam Shaw School of Art and the Royal College of Art, she is currently Senior Lecturer in Photography at the University of the Arts London. Exhibiting widely both nationally and internationally, her recent work explores the impact of photography, flight and the technologies of modern warfare on the representation of contested landscapes. Her work can be found in collections including Darat al Funun, Amman; the Imperial War Museum, London; Centre Pompidou, Paris; Mori Art Museum, Tokyo; and Museum Moderner Kunst, Vienna.
