Dora Maar: At Home and Abroad
The Dora Maar exhibition at Tate Modern which ended on the 15th of March 2020 was one of the last to be experienced before lockdown emptied galleries and museums depriving us of the privilege of physical presence.
In this episode of Voices Marysia shares her views of the Dora Maar survey exhibition and provides a memorable reflection on her 2017 Fellowship and residency at the Dora Maar House in Ménerbes, Provence; her truly unique perspective on Maar’s life “at home and abroad” is susceptibly evoked though insights into Maar’s private and emotional solitude at the House and further by her links with the cosmopolitan life in Paris.
Marysia’s collaboration with HH includes her contribution to the Cabinet of Remedies.
