We are seeking a Treasurer to join our team of 7 trustees. You will have experience of managing charity and museum accounts, and an understanding of the museum sector. You don’t need to live in Gloucester as all meetings are held remotely.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining an overview of financial control
- Keeping an accurate and up-to-date record of all income and expenditure
- Preparation of quarterly financial board reports
- Producing an annual financial report and accounts for the Trust’s AGM; providing accounts and supporting documentation to the Independent Examiner
- Submitting annual accounts to the Charities Commission and Companies House.
- Submitting annual Gift Aid claims.
You will be supported in this role by the Chair, the board of Trustees and our small but dedicated team of staff.
Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: 4 online meetings a year – Daytime or evening meetings: daytime to accommodate our internationally based trustees
