About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Museum assistant. Initially this will be for two days a week (flexible), with the chance to increase the hours later in the summer. In this freelance role, you will play a key part in bringing art to life for our visitors, while also amplifying our presence on social media and coordinating our fantastic volunteers.
You will be responsible for:
- Engaging visitors with our art exhibitions and programs.
- Developing creative and interactive content for our social media platforms.
- Coordinating and collaborating with our volunteers.
- Assisting with the coordination of events and workshops.
We are looking for someone who is:
- A passionate advocate for the arts with a keen interest in women’s art.
- Excellent at communication and building relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Competent with social media and content creation.
- An enthusiastic team player with strong organizational skills.
This is a one-year freelance contract with a one-month probation period. The successful candidate will be based in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. Working at weekends is a requirement of the role.
