Sisters of the Road: Anne-Marie Michel
Anne-Marie Michel is a portrait and fashion photographer based in London, showcasing her first personal project as a visual story-teller, exploring both her world and that of those she meets along the way.
‘Sisters of the Road’ follows forty stories of female truckers that Anne-Marie met whilst on a 10,000 mile journey across the US, primarily looking at the attitude towards them within their industry. Each experience, whilst different to each other, collectively tell the story that needs to be heard of the remarkable women who make up 7% of America’s trucking workforce.
