Cutting Though Barriers, A Girls Allied Exhibition
Photography and more from the Girls Allied programme, at The Eastgate Centre from Saturday 18th to Sunday 27th August
A small exhibition displaying the artwork from our Girls Allied July programme. Cutting Through Barriers shows what it means to be a teenage girl in these ongoing times of uncertainty. What do they like? What annoys them? How can you express your feelings through art?
The answers can be seen through their photographs, zines and protest banners – this is what the world means to them.
If you’re a teenage girl and would like to join the next Girls Allied creative programme in the autumn, or the Girls Allied in the Archive summer programme, email harriet@hundredheroines.org.
