We’re celebrating Black History Month with Arts Diverse-City!
As part of Arts Diverse-City Black History Month celebrations, we’re holding a collage workshop at the Heroines Quarter in the Eastgate.
This two-part workshop will begin with an informal discussion about the work of contemporary black female artists who use collage in their practice to explore themes of cultural identity.
In part 2, using the work from part 1 as inspiration, we’ll create a collaborative collage which will be displayed on the Creative Canvas.
All materials and light refreshments will be provided. Participation is free, but booking is essential to guarantee a place.
The workshop is open to all, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
