Why I Volunteer

Volunteering is the lifeblood of small charities

Over the course of the pandemic charities are likely to be facing a £10bn deficit, which makes volunteers even more important to help keep small charities going.

Volunteering can be rewarding, educational, inspiring as well as having a positive impact on emotional well-being.

From being advocates of the charity, to writing content and fundraising – each role a volunteer plays is essential to reaching our goal of greater recognition of women photographers.

But don’t just take our word for it – see what our volunteers have to say about volunteering with Hundred Heroines.
