Meet Gulshan Khan

For a tour and discussion of her work in Poisoned Futures?

As part of our Poisoned Futures? programme, award-winning photojournalist, Gulshan Khan, will give a tour of her work and discuss her two featured series We Can’t Breathe and Life in Plastic.

During this walk-through, Gulshan will share stories behind key works and discuss collaborating with communities most affected by environmental injustice.

Gulshan Khan is an independent South African photographer based in Johannesburg. Noted for her photojournalism work focused on social justice identity and human rights development, Gulshan’s work engages in multi-layered themes around representations of identities in South Africa which inform her visual practice.

The series We can’t breathe was originally commissioned by Climate Visuals, A Climate Outreach Project.
