Student Projects

We always enjoy working with students and can offer in-house work experience opportunities (for local schools and colleges), as well as remote projects and virtual gallery showcases nationally & internationally.  If you’re a course leader for photography, illustration, art of history, we’d love to hear from you and discuss how your students can be involved.

We also welcome groups from schools and colleges outside our normal opening hours – get in touch if you’d like to visit!

Contact harriet [at] hundredheroines [dot] org for further details.

Examples of previous student projects include:

UoG Illustrators in the Archive

We’ve been working with a group of MA Illustration students from UoG.  They were given a brief to create infographics in response to images in the Elisabeth Buchmeyer Archive.  And here are the results!

LCC Galleries

We’re thrilled to present two outstanding students from the London College of Communication, who are exhibiting their work in our virtual galleries. Congratulations to Rontgen and Lesi Chen for being selected for the galleries from the LCC Grad Show.

There’s Still Life

Students from the University of Westminster joined us for virtual work experience during lockdown. They produce a body of photographic work relating to fruit and vegetables which were displayed on phone-boxes around Kensington and Chelsea as part of Kensington & Chelsea Art Week.
