Help the garden grow
Although the Knife Angel has departed, our creative anti-violence activities for young people continue.
During Gloucester’s Purple for Hollie campaign, we started to create a Garden of Positivity dedicated to Hollie Gazzard, who was murdered by her ex-partner in her place of work. The garden is now a permanent feature as part of our anti-violence display and we want it to continue to grow with art that represents acts of kindness.
How to Participate
Drop in to the Hundred Heroines Museum on Saturdays and Sundays (any time between 10:30-3:30). All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Angels, Wings & Halos
Be inspired by angels, wings and halos. We provide all the materials and templates for you to get creative and show the world your acts of kindness. The angels fly in the Garden of Positivity.
Rocks & Roses
The garden is full of colour and positive thoughts. For example :
- Paint or draw a rose
- Complete the rose colouring sheet
- Paint a positive message on a pebble
- Make flowers out of crepe paper
All materials are provided and it’s completely free of charge!
