Youth Programme

The Hundred Heroines Museum is  dedicated to celebrating women in photography. We are based in Nailsworth, Stroud where we run exhibitions, workshops and talks. One of our core aims is to change the future.

Young people are essential to this. Our youth programme aims to foster advocacy, opportunity and collective knowledge.

Our programme includes physical and digital resources for young people and educators, as well as career development opportunities for young people interested in arts and culture.

Work experience, projects and virtual galleries are some of the ways we work with students.  We also open by arrangement for private tours for schools and colleges.

Gloucester Lates

Gloucester Lates was a series of weekly workshops by young people, for young people, created by Hundred Heroines in collaboration with JOLT, and was running alongside the Dorothy Wilding Exhibition at the Eastgate Shopping Centre (Gloucester).  This project was made possible through the generous support of the Ampersand Foundation and the Association of Independent Museums New Stories New Audiences grant scheme, funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund.

This project has been made possible through the generous support of
the Canon Young People Programme and Soroptimist International Cirencester.
