Northern Narratives Studios is a production company specialising in the provision of innovative and accessible photography exhibitions, tours, and projects. The organisation was founded in 2017 by Photographer Ken Grant and Arts Director Tracy Marshall and was initially based in Ireland. The organisation has since based itself in England, Wales and France and has been constituted as a CIC since 2018.

Working predominantly in collaboration with national and international partners – across the visual arts, cultural, heritage and community sectors – Northern Narratives Studios focus on creating high quality opportunities to experience photography, locally and internationally, in an engaged and inspiring way.

Their productions incorporate exhibitions, publications, tours, workshops, conferences, and talks and also provide residency, mentorship, and bursary opportunities for those working with photography across the creative industries.
