Del Barrett

Founder and Chair

After spending twenty years in the City, as a Research Analyst and then Head of Research, Del’s more recent career was in higher education, specialising in Language & Power, including the misappropriation of language, critical linguistics and discourse analysis.  She holds a Ph.D in Linguistics from King’s College (London) and an MBA from Aston, where her research focused on stochastic decision-making processes.

Her not-for-profit experience includes former Trustee of the Royal Photographic Society, where she conceived the original Hundred Heroines campaign, board member of the Too Tired project and President of the Chamber of Commerce of a small market town.

Del is an avid photobook collector.
