Dorothy Wilding Appreciation Society

Dorothy Wilding was a Gloucestershire photographer born in 1893 and famed for her illustrious career as the first women appointed Official Royal Photographer (for the 1937 coronation) and her continued photography of celebrated figures between the 1930s and 1950s.

The Dorothy Wilding Appreciation Society has been established to build a legacy of Dorothy’s work in her home town. Your support will ensure her memory lives on by enabling us to build an archive of Dorothy’s work and to nurture the next generation of women photographers through a training and mentor programme.

Click the “Pay For Membership” button and choose the amount you’d like to donate (minimum £25).  Membership lasts for a year, then fill in the form below with your personal details.
