Dorothy Wilding Appreciation Society

Dorothy Wilding was a Gloucestershire photographer born in 1893 and famed for her illustrious career as the first woman appointed Official Royal Photographer (for the 1937 coronation) and her continued photography of celebrated figures between the 1930s and 1950s.

The Dorothy Wilding Appreciation Society has been established to build a legacy of Dorothy’s work in her home town. By becoming a Bohemian member, you can join our training and mentor programme and be a part of the legacy.  Bohemian membership is open to women under 30 with a GL postcode … and it’s free!
