Ethiopian photographer Aïda Muluneh creates limited edition Moleksine notebook with 100% of the profits supporting young people from marginalised communities
I chose to collaborate with Moleskine Foundation to release a set of Artist Edition Series Notebooks to raise awareness and support the transformative work the Foundation is undertaking to support creative young minds at the center of the Foundation’s unconventional educational programs.
– Aïda Muluneh
As the first artist to to participate in Moleskine Foundation‘s Artist Edition Series Notebook, the collaboration sets to ‘support creative and cultural spaces operating in underserved communities worldwide and encourage youth creative skills development’.
The limited run of 100 notebooks features Aïda Muluneh’s The Past, the Present and the Future, dedicating this piece to Ethiopia and explores themes of inequality, immigration, prejudice, orthodoxy, ethics and colonialism.
