This week we are introducing one of our newly elected Heroines, Tshepiso Mazibuko, with an Instagram take-over.
Choosing nine images from her portfolio, Tshepiso focusses on three main themes within each photograph; politics, history and landscape. Most recently focusing how these topics relate to “the black body” in everyday life.
Tshepiso lives and works in Thokoza, South Africa and she was recipient of the Tierney fellowship 2017, and has been awarded the Prince Claus Fund grant for 2018.
