Tom Lovelace is an artist based in London. Working at the intersection of photography, sculpture and performance, Lovelace explores the semantics of the everyday, revealing and reimagining materials, processes and histories. Central themes to his research and visual inquiry encompass the history of photography, labour and minimalism. Lovelace studied Photography at the Arts University Bournemouth, receiving First Class Honours before studying Art History at Goldsmiths College, University of London. He is a visiting Tutor at the Royal College of Art, London and the Arts University, Bournemouth and a regular speaker at Universities, festivals and galleries. In 2017, Lovelace curated At Home She’s a Tourist for Peckham 24, Photo London.
